this is a circularly fucked situation. I picked up the LA times yesterday (after taking my daughter to tae kwon do) and what do I see on the cover? the LA archdiocese paying out 60 million to alleged molestation victims. mind you, this is JUST in LA county...and only in cases alleged before 1958 and after 1979 (apparently the church picked up insurance between 58 and 79 that covered pedophilia). 60 million dollars between like, 50 people. (it was a class action law suit, in civil court). Now there are several things that piss me off about this situation. the first of which is that I went to catholic school for my entire juvenile life and was not molested.....hey, 1.5 million cures a lot o' pain. (the second is that I'm out of beer...lol )
all kidding aside though, the people who were suing the church were in their 60's. ok, let me get this straight, you were allegedly molested fifty years ago, but for some reason...just now, you cant deal with the pain of it anymore? and you have to "bring to light" what some dead priest did to you. And I'm not saying they didn't do it. God knows, the priesthood has been a sanctuary for wackos since it was invented. But your suing an institution not an individual. and while certain members of the priesthood should be drug through the streets and shot...and the archdioceses who protected them should face even worse, it doesn't have a damn thing to do with the catholic church as a whole. the catholic church is one of the most charitable organizations in existence, so while you may be looking to extract vengeance ( I say vengeance, because justice is a matter of CRIMINAL court) on your local diocese who allowed this to happen, 60 years ago, you are..in fact...taking large sums of money away from a charitable organization that might have otherwise used it for some good. you are NOT suing the people who did it to you....not even taking them to criminal court where they belong....your just sucking money out of a massive conglomerate that, at its core, is meant to help people, and serving your own base ends with it.
"hey ass hole! why are you so hard on alleged molestation victims?" you might say.
because number 1.
they are 'alleged' molestation victims. who didn't see the need to try their case in criminal court, so that the party's responsible could face punishment and not be in a position to ever hurt someone else again. They just cared about their piece of the pie....60 years latter in some cases. so fuck them.
And fuck the church to for buying the silence of the truthful claims.
And here is where it becomes a circle. you have sick bastards who are babysat by their (direct) superiors to avoid scandal, greedy plaintiffs who would rather see 1 mill in their bank account then request some kind-of counseling for would-be priests or surveillance systems, or anything that prevents this from happening to more children and a totally fucked justice system that rewards this kind of hypocrisy with multi-million dollar pay-offs from an internationally charitable organization (do you think the cash for this is coming off the popes back?....more likely from under funded missions in Africa that provides medicine and medical care to the AIDS ridden populous)
so screw everyone in the entire situation.

03:08 pm: busy girl!
yesterday was gross..
I had to pay 450 disgusting dollars to get new tires on my car...one of my front tires poped when I went over a pot hole,then when I took it in to have that fixed they noticed a nail in the side of my other front tire...which acording to them cannot be fixed, so I need new front tires...and since they dont carry my tires and their having a special where you buy 3 tires and get the fourth free I should just get that...according to them...and an oil change (which I did need) AND an alignment...450 dollars latter. what pisses me off is that my car is BRAND fucking new. its a 2006. BUT the dealer dosent cover tires. grrr.... but I have spiffy new sport tires :)
and we did end the night on a fun note. we went to the New York pizza bar by my house and got beer and pizza and watched the Tigers OWN the Yankees. they have 6 dollar pitchers of beer there....which, in LA, is unheard of..and bomb-ass pizza. so we hang out there alot, lol. Its a favorite of the Macys cosmetic crowd.
other then that...my old boss is having me model in an INC fashion show. INC is Macys private label. so I guess Im doing that on the 21st. works out well for me because were going to San Diego on the 18th and comming back on the 20th. Im SOOOOO looking forward to this trip....not only because were staying in a beach house but because Im going to see my mom and dad....thats rite, both of them. lol, my parents have been divorced for like 100 years, but my moms coming to visit for 2 weeks and my dad is driving out for a board meeting in Phoenix then over to San Diego to meet us. lol, Im actually really happy to be seeing both of them at the same time.
Then we have club party monster on the 25th. my friend Adam is comming down for that so there will be tons of drunkin Irish partying!!!!
on the 27th is Robbies show at the Whiskey.
and on the 31st were doing Halloween on Santa Monica with a shit load of friends. everyones getting hotels (including us) so that is going to be one hell of a party.
Im going to be a peacock for halloween!! soooo excited for that but now I have to wait to dye my hair because its supposed to be a "natural" color for the INC show.
AND were doing all robbies birthday stuff next week. including a house party at our place. which I still have to get ready for.

Also...I got my portfolio done. well, almost done..I just have to have the inserts printed.

p.s. its actualy getting COLD in LA...WTF!?!?! I have my patio door open and its like, 60 digrees out! my poor lime trees leaves are turning yellow and we havent even picked the limes yet!!

so robbie re-joined the creeps....after they got rid of eddie, lol. Im not going to say anything bad about him. I hope he gets everything he deserves in life.
we designed robbies costume a few nights ago. the stuff they wore for the last photo shoot was just temporary...yes, they will have full costumes again soon. I also re-designed robbies make-up to fit the new green and purple theme. its got some good reactions so I guess people like it better :) we went to practise last night, well I droped robbie off then patrick and I went shopping in west hollywood. I got 2 really cool shirts for storm to give to robbie..she actauly picked them out, to. then we went back to practise and picked up crystal and went to get food. we went to this place down the street and there just happens to be a drag queen there, supposedly a famous one....but im not to up on things in the drag world. ans he/she sees storm as we walk in and tells her how beautiful she is. when we sit down patrick starts talking about her/him refering to her/him as a him and storms all like "uncle patrick... thats a girl!" we all smiled.
besides the creep stuff ive been bussy putting my portfolio together..and its almost done! I just have to print the pictures for it!!! YAY! so I should be able to apply to the studios next week. I already called the union and they gave me some good advice on how to get in. I'll miss all my friends at Macys....but, I really want a studio job. infact, I have to get back to finishing that up... heres some of the photoshop stuff ive been working on in the last week..

10:23 am: CHEEEEEEEP!!!!!!!!
so I bought Dirge of Cerebus (the new Final Fantasy 7 game for PS2) yesterday... I actauly pre sold-it a week ago and picked it up yesterday when it came out. couldnt play it yesterday as I had prior engagements to go to chuck e cheese....

this morning I get up nice and early to drop Storm off for her field trip and I figure I have a GOOD 3 hours to play it because tonights my manditory one night a week closing shift.
so
I come home and spend the next 30 minutes looking for it before realizing its probably still in Robbies car and he dosent get home till like, 10 minutes before I have to go to work....

11:51 am: you know that promotion Ive been talking about.... :-) I got it!!!!!
so I start on the 24th... Im geeked. I got myself a Coach planer because were having all these events and I cant keep track of all this crap! Ive been stuttering for the last week because my head is so full of dates.
what else has been going on....
Storms loving her new pre-school. we've also got her in tai kwon do.. shes like, 4 feet of death. its awesome. She had this tournament thing the other day and she was one of the last ones out. were also getting her in ballet, Im excited about that because I did it when I was a kid.
we all went up to lake arrowhead last sunday for a night. its sooo pretty up there. its this little town WAY up in the San Bernideno mountains...so pretty. they filmed parent trap there.the drive is CRAZY you go up this little road that hangs off the side of the mountain....its freaky. and I do actauly mean "hanging off" not built into the side of the mountain. you go up 5 thousand feet like that and when you look off the side of the road theres just air...its like being in a plane. I got a condo rite on the lake there for the weekend my mom's here latter this month. shes also coming out in October and getting a place in palm springs..I love that place, the last time she was there she stayed at the same place and its beautiful. it has the pool Marlyn Monroe did her play boy shoot in.
we'll I have a beach party to go to tonight down in Huntington, gotta run :-)

yay..... I got up EARLY! 7 am...
because I have to get ready for the interview for my promotion.... :) Im not planing on getting there till like, 1 but for some reason I couldnt sleep so I got up withh Robbie.
I got my lap top!!!!!! lol but im still on the pc because I havent really figured out how to use it. we did watch enter the dragon last night on it though. it has a wide screen :)

at the moment Im furnishing my new appartment, working my ass off, waiting for my new laptop to come in the mail so I can set up all my music software...thats rite people, Emily Storms putting out her own music soon. On that note, Im also waiting for my couch to come in the mail..... apparently, I dont believe in shoping in-store these days.. I guess Im lazy...

10:56 pm: havent been on here in a while. Ive been really busy with work.. but its cool because I love my job. I have like 8 million prom make-overs tomarrow and saturday. also, I may be getting a promotion soon, Im not going to say much about it now because I dont want to get all excited and jinx the whole thing. basicaly, it would meen over 20$ an hour and beeing part of a national team.... AHH! I said to much! rrr.....
Robbie, Patrick and I went to a gay bar last sunday night. we had the BEST time, they were having a latin drag show. we were drinking adios motherfuckers all night. good....strong drinks. we even danced! lotsa fun.
weve also been having a hell of a time moving our new bedroom set in. we got a cherry wood queen sized sleigh bed, 2 dressers and a night stand. when everythings all set up Ill put up some pictures. its sooooo nice. I have to put up pictures of our appartment anyways! were also getting a new couch in a few weeks. Ikea mother fuckers!

09:44 pm: new years
i guess my new years is off to a good start.... Im a bit over cautious after last year, which ended in my dad having 2 heart attacks and my grand-mother (the one i like) breaking her hip.
their both doing a lot better..so its good.
me and Robbie picked out our appartment. this is somthing that particularly excites me.. were getting a 3rd floor appartment in a brand new building with a wrap around outside porch! and you can see the beams in the cealing, Ive always liked lofts so that really makes me happy. were rite at the base of the mountians so we have a great view of Angeles national forest. we went to Ikea today and got some glasses and a new lamp, now all we need is a bed because we decided to use our futon as a couch and just buy a bed. the cool thing is that since I work at Macys I get a discount on everything in the store and they have TONS of shit. Tomarrow I think Im going to buy towels and a painting of a wine bottle for the kitchen that Ive had my eye on for a while. Were going to move in the first week of Febuary, because the building not done yet...thats how new they are!! the bathrooms really nice to, its all tile. and they have a HUGE pool and the complex is nice and small, which I like.
works been going well. its cool to be a manager! I got a little award the other day because I was one of the top credit openers, and I got another one from Paula Dorf (the make-up line I manage) beacuse my counter was number 3 in total sales in California for the week of Christmas. BUT we have inventory comming up which is going to be a pain in the ass!!!!!!!! but at least Im ready! I had to group ALL my cosmetics into groups of 40 and make sure they were all labled properly...do you have any idea how meny different kinds of product ONE make-up counter has?!?!?!?! after making sure all the cosmetics are in their proper places I had to sub-devide them by color and style... its taken the better part of a week to get it done. the other EVIL part is that because they dont want to close the store for inventory in the day we have to do it at night... ALL night... like, till 5 am... bleh.
NAMM's comming up. thats this industry convention for musicians. The Creeps are going to be at the Samick booth signing autographs and stuff. then they have a show that night at the Whisky again, which is good because there are a shit load of industry people in town for namm. Im looking forward to it because I know all the guitar companies are going to be giving out free shit...so Im comming with a bag! I think maybe I'll try to get Nita in to so she can talk to people about sponsorships, shes really good at that. we already have one from Rockstar. Teazer hasent been doing much because nita was out of town, but now shes back so we'll be practising again.
OHHHH!!! yesterday we went to santa monica!!! it was soooo pretty!!! I have pictures... we totaly went there spur of the moment. but it was nice and hot out so we went in the water..like to our knees and there was really big waves and I was tring to take pictures with my camara phone and hold my pants up.. it wasnt working to well so we walked up to this beach shop and bought a disposable camara (i forgot my digital one) and some shorts to go in the watter.. after that we walked on the pier, the same one from the movie the lost boys!!! then we went back to the water to go in...I was in up to my knees tring to take a picture of Robbie when a HUGE wave came up and knocked me over! so I ended up kinda going swimming, since i was wet anyways. after that while I was drying off in the sun we decided I should burry Robbie in the sand which was really cute! then we went back up on the pier and had a few beers and a really good fish and chip dinner.
I have the weekend off starting tonight so we might go to Bar Sinister. tomarrow were getting up early and going over to the appartments to sign stuff then were going to down town LA with Robbies mom to Alvera Street to buy cool mexican stuff.

02:48 pm: still busy working and of course, christmas shoping! Robbie got me a Dior princess ring!! I made him give it to me early because he got his present early (Resident Evil 4) and i wanted to wear it to his show at the Wiskey with Vain. Vains actauly pretty good. the whole show was good, eewwwwwww except that one band that went on at like, 6:30... but over all everything was cool and they sold the place out.
oh! were also getting a new appartment, I got a set of pots the other day for it.... yay, house shoping...

06:27 pm: FINALY starting my new job.
I did my paper work today for my new job at Macys! lol it only took 2 months to get hired. I start at the counter wednesday! and their giving me a Macys card.. cool shit. tomarrow Im going the Kettle Cadaver video, which should be intresting. that reminds me...I need to clean my brushes tonight. ummm...
my new tattoos healing up well, Ill get a picture up soon. thats about it!

I had a really good birthday..
my dad gave me the best present..apparently, he talked to someones lawyer...somthing about a minimum of 2 years? hehehe
anyways,
I got wassssssssssted. but it was fun we went to a party and saw Donny and Zebastian...me and Donny ended up having a good laugh about being Jewish.
before all that.... we went out to Islands for burgers with marisa and Robbies mom. I dont think they have Islands on the east coast so for all my friends out there they have the BEST food. then we went to pinky star and I got a new outfit. I also spent an hour on the phone with my uncle. we did a bunch of other stuff to but Im in a hurry because were going to wes's and I have to go

07:26 pm: new songs
we worked out some new songs today at Nitas. rite now we have 3 of her songs and one of mine...I need to finish lyrics on a few of my other songs. then were going in the studio to do a 6 song EP sometime next month.
oh and I got hair dye... and Im getting a new tattoo next week...its gonna be really cool.
i also have 2 jobs comming up on sunday for someones photo shoot and next weekend were doing the kettle cadaver video... yay! that pays my rent for the next month :-)
gotta run....were making saporio itchiban chowmein noodles.

10:07 pm: band practise and Rockstar endorcment
we had band practise today in Hollywood. Im soooooooooooooooooooooo happy...everything sounds sooo fucking good!!!! its so nice to play with Nita and Kaena. Their amazing musicians...and I dont mean by girl standards. we worked on 2 songs and picked out a cover were going to put on our EP. the cool thing was that we ended up getting the showcase room at sound arena for 15$ becuse all the other rooms were sold out! so it was just hte 3 of us jaming on this HUGE stage....actauly, if your a creeps fan...the stage in the Lesbian video. after that we all went out to pizza on sunset and picked out a cover were going to do. lol..its funny because were not really big bon jovi fans but we all really like bad medicine so thats what were going to do! lol... i think it will sound really cool.
the other cool thing is that we got our Rockstar energy drink stuff...Nita had an endorcment with Rockstar energy drinks in Lia Fail that she brough with her to Teazer, so we get a shit load of free stuff from them! I got a couple of shirts for me and Robbie and a tank top and tomarrow Im gonna pick up one of the crates of the shit they left Nita...hahaha funny thing is that me and Robbie drink energy drinks all the time so this works out well for us! I think were supposed to hand the rest of the stuff out at shows...
were heading up to our managers house Tuesday to figure out when were going in the studio and apparently were getting produced by...Kim Fowley!!!!!!! holly shit! look that guy up on google...hes worked with KISS, Alice Cooper...it goes on and on..
Id like to go on about how fucking cool this is and how lucky I am all night but I gotta get back to practising! cant sound sloppy on Tuesday!
